Here are a few generous testimonials... "James has full command
of the concepts of taiji including both the spiritual and combat
components. He is an extremely competent and caring teacher who has
earned the respect of his students. One always leaves his class with
renewed energy and provocative ideas about the art." "James is extremely patient,
attentive, insightful and compassionate with each individual. He is an
excellent example and guide with the teachings of Tai Ji Chaun’s
philosopy, applications and as an art form." "Taiji Chuan is a whole brain approach
to expanding the body, mind, and spirit and introducing it to the
unfamiliar with ease and self-empowerment. The various forms create an
inner strength, which increases one’s mental awareness and efficacy
with each body movement." "Class is one of the few places
where calm and peace reigns. Where you can put away your little baggage
of stress for a little while and relax surrounded by friends with a
teacher whose teaching style makes taiji accessible to anyone
regardless of age, gender or physical condition."

| Recovering from a seriously brutal battle with cancer,
I needed a physical activity to gently aid in my recovery. Taiji offers
so much physically/emotionally/mentally/spiritually, more so than I had
imagined. The most important thing is that it can be modified in order
to suit my personal physical needs and limitations. Being an athlete/dancer most of my life, I find James Weston to be nothing short of excellent in his skills as a Taiji artist/practitioner and teacher, he is the real deal and we’re fortunate to have such a man in our area. |
